Home cooking

Finely prepared home cooking, with three generations of inspiration

We don't always have everything. But it doesn't matter, because you won't miss out. In our hotel restaurant, you can expect regional and seasonal delicacies stemming from typical Lower Austrian cuisine - whether it's a new take or a traditional recipe, these dishes are inspired by three generations. That's why we completely rely on our own skills. Everything that can be home made, is home made

Wherever you choose, be it the historic setting of our vaulted rooms, launging under the grape arbours or our decades-old Linden tree, or perhaps cosily in our guest garden, it always best with a good glass of wine. And of course, we have plenty on offer. The creations of top regional winemarkers, award-winning red wines from the Burgenland in Austria, as well as a small and exquisite selection of international favourites are all stored in our wine cellar.

Doesn't it all sounds good? It really is. Almost every day, from 11.00 to 20.30, whether you're a hotel guest or simply because you want to try a culinary delight.. Come by.

AMA gastro-seal "Culinary Heritage"

Knowing where something comes from, as well as authenticity, transparency and regionality when going to a restaurant, is exactly what the AMA gastro-seal for "Culinary Heritage" represents, as well as the Hotel-Restaurant Kirchenwirt in Weißenkirchen in der Wachau: local tradition and quality.

The seal is a relieble guide for culinary enjoyment when staying with Austrian hosts.

The hotel also has a restaurant serving Austrian cuisine, with a slightly modern twist. The quality is generally very high and prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is also extensive, varied and tasty.
